When Kate Stein was running for Maryland State Delegate, she wanted campaign content that felt authentic, approachable, and rooted in the community she hoped to serve. The goal was to create a collection of visual assets that could support voter outreach across multiple platforms while introducing voters to Kate's values, priorities, and personal story.

What This Package Looked Like

Every campaign is different, but this project is a strong example of what can be accomplished in a single, well-planned production day.

Working closely with Kate, Bethany helped refine messaging, identify visual opportunities, and develop a production plan that would create a variety of assets from a single day of filming. The result was a flexible content library that could be used across websites, social media, voter outreach efforts, and campaign communications.

One Day. Multiple Uses.

One of the advantages of a documentary-style approach is efficiency.

Rather than creating a single video, the same production day generated:

  • Candidate introduction content
  • Issue-based messaging
  • Photography for campaign materials
  • Social media assets
  • Future content opportunities

Productions can be structured around:

  • Half-day productions
  • Full-day productions
  • Single-location interviews
  • Multi-location storytelling
  • Photography only
  • Video only
  • Integrated photo and video coverage

The right approach depends on campaign goals, timeline, audience, and available resources.

Is This the Right Fit for Your Campaign?

No two campaigns are exactly alike.

Whether you're launching a campaign, introducing yourself to voters, highlighting an issue, or building a content library for future outreach, campaign storytelling can be tailored to fit a variety of goals and budgets.

Some candidates need a focused interview-based production. Others benefit from a more comprehensive storytelling approach that includes photography, video, community interactions, and multiple deliverables.
